Yes, another episode already as we try to get back on schedule. We had A LOT to say this episode and we’re still getting settled into our new format, so here’s a monster of an episode. This one time, I hope you have a long commute and maybe we can help make it a little more interesting.

In comics, we’ve got some single issue talk and then a discussion on comic book character “reincarnations.”

Happy Thanksgiving! Matt and Darren sit down to record a holiday edition of the show talking about a few trade collections that we’ve been enjoying.

We focus in on three titles this time out and we highly recommend all of them. First up is Skull-Kickers from Image, which has two volumes of sword and sorcery insanity out. Next is FreakAngels from Avatar Press, with all six volumes being out to complete this post-apocalyptic-steam-punk-psychic-parable-for-early-twenties-post-slackers storyline. Finally, we talk Locke & Key from IDW, one of the creepiest and most well-written stories with incredibly rich detail that literally opens doors to your fantasies and nightmares.

In this one we cover half of the new material. As there’s 5 factions (I know, Minions aren’t a faction, but they have their own section and get coins now with tourney events, so deal with it) we talk about two and a half of them: the Trollbloods, the Skorne, and the Farrow.

It looks like everyone’s after an Anthanc....except the Trolls, who just want you off their lawn.
